Sukta 7
याव॑तीना॒मोष॑धीनां॒ गा॑वः प्रा॒श्नन्त्य॒घ्न्या याव॑तीनामजा॒वयः॑ । ताव॑ती॒स्तुभ्य॒मोष॑धीः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छ॒न्त्वाभृ॑ताः
yā́vatīnām óṣadhīnām gā́vaḥ prāśnánty aghnyā́ yā́vatīnām ajāváyaḥ | tā́vatīs túbhyam óṣadhīḥ śárma yacchantv ā́bhṛtāḥ ||
As many as are the healing herbs whereon the inviolable cows do feed, as many as those whereon goats and sheep do browse,—so many herbs, brought hither, let them bestow on thee protection and repose.
जितने भी जड़ी-बूटी हैं जिनको गाय खाती हैं, और जितने भी हैं जिनको बकरी और भेड़ खाते हैं, उतनी सारी जड़ी-बूटियाँ यहाँ लाकर इस इंसान को सुरक्षा और सुकून दें।
