Sukta 6
दु॒र्णामा॑ च सु॒नामा॑ चो॒भा सं॒वृत॑मिच्छतः । अ॒राया॒नप॑ हन्मः सु॒नामा॒ स्त्रैण॑मिच्छताम्
durṇā́mā ca sunā́mā cobhā́ sáṃvṛtam icchataḥ | arāyā́n ápa hanmaḥ sunā́mā stráiṇam icchatām ||
Ill-name and Good-name—both seek the closed-in state. The malign we smite away: let Good-name, womanly good fortune, be for her who would have it.
बुरा नाम और अच्छा नाम, दोनों ही छुपाव में रहते हैं। पर हम बुरा वाले को मारते हैं, उसको भगा देते हैं। अच्छा नाम और औरत की किस्मत उसके पास रहे जो चाहता है।
