वि ज्योति॑षा बृह॒ता भा॑त्य॒ग्निरा॒विर्विश्वा॑नि कृणुते महि॒त्वा। प्रादे॑वीर्मा॒याः स॑हते दु॒रेवाः॒ शिशी॑ते॒ शृङ्गे॒ रक्षो॑भ्यो वि॒निक्ष्वे॑
ví jyótiṣā bṛhatā́ bhāty agnír āvír víśvāni kṛṇute mahitvā́ | prá adevī́r māyā́ḥ sahate durévāḥ śiśī́te śṛ́ṅge rakṣóbhyo viníkṣve
With mighty light Agni shineth forth; in majesty he maketh all things manifest. Forth he overcometh the ungodly spells, the evil goings; he whetteth his horns against the Rākṣasas, to thrust them down.
अग्नि बड़ी रोशनी से चमक रहा है। वो अपनी ताकत से सब कुछ साफ़ दिखाता है। वो बुरी जादू और बुरी हरकतों को हराता है। वो अपने सींग तेज़ करता है राक्षस के ख़िलाफ़, उनको धक्का मारने के लिए।
