Sukta 3
वि॒षेण॑ भङ्गु॒राव॑तः॒ प्रति॑ स्म र॒क्षसो॑ जहि । अग्ने॑ ति॒ग्मेन॑ शो॒चिषा॒ तपु॑रग्राभिर॒र्चिभिः॑
víṣeṇa bhaṅgurā́vataḥ práti sma rakṣáso jahi | ágne tigména śocíṣā tápur-agrābhir arcíbhiḥ
With poison-power smite thou, full against them, the shatterable Rākṣasas. O Agni, with thy keen blaze, with flames whose forefront is burning heat, strike them down.
अग्नि, तुम ज़हर की ताकत से मारो। राक्षस जो सामने खड़े हैं, उनको तोड़ दो। तुम्हारी आग बहुत तेज़ है, उसकी लपटें भी जलती हैं। इन सब से उनको गिरा दो।
