Sukta 3
परा॑ शृणीहि॒ तप॑सा यातु॒धाना॒न् परा॑ग्ने॒ रक्षो॒ हर॑सा शृणीहि । परा॒र्चिषा॒ मूर॑देवान्छृणीहि॒ परा॑सु॒तृपः॒ शोशु॑चतः शृणीहि
párā śṛṇīhi tápasā yātudhā́nān párāgne rákṣo hárasā śṛṇīhi | párā́rcíṣā mū́radevāñ chṛṇīhi párā́sutṛ́paḥ śóśucataḥ śṛṇīhi
Smite thou away, with burning ardour, the Yātudhānas; smite thou away, O Agni, the Rákṣas with thy fierce heat. With thy flame smite thou away the Mūra-devas; smite thou away the life-devouring, the blazing ones.
अग्नि, अपनी गर्मी से बुरी आत्माओं को भगा दे। अपनी आग से राक्षस को दूर कर। अपनी लौ से वो बुरी शक्तियों को मार। जो लोग जान खाते हैं और आग जैसा बड़े, उनको भी भगा दे।
