Sukta 23
उत् पु॒रस्ता॒त् सूर्य॑ एति वि॒श्वदृ॑ष्टो अदृष्ट॒हा। दृ॒ष्टांश्च॒ घ्नन्न॒दॄष्टां॑श्च॒ सर्वां॑श्च प्रमृ॒णन् क्रिमी॑न्
út purastā́t sū́rya eti viśvádṛṣṭo adṛṣṭahā́ | dṛṣṭā́ṃś ca ghnán adṛṣṭā́ṃś ca sárvāṃś ca pramṛṇán krimī́n ||
Up from the east the Sun advanceth, all-beholding, slayer of the unseen; smiting the seen and smiting the unseen, yea crushing down all worms.
सूर्य पूरब से उठता है और सब कुछ देखता है। वो दिखने वाली चीज़ें मारता है और जो नहीं दिखती वो भी। सारे कीड़ों को वो कुचल देता है।
