Sukta 19
अश्रू॑णि॒ कृप॑मानस्य॒ यानि॑ जी॒तस्य॑ वावृ॒तुः । तं वै ब्र॑ह्मज्य ते दे॒वा अ॒पां भा॒गम॑धारयन्
aśrū́ṇi kṛ́pamānasya yā́ni jītásya vāvṛtúḥ | táṃ vái brahmajyé te devā́ apā́ṃ bhā́gam adhārayann ||
The tears of him that piteously lamenteth—those which have encompassed the conquered—him, verily, as Brahman-slayer, the Gods have held back from the Waters’ portion.
जब कोई रोता है और दर्द में है, उसके आँसू जो हार गए लोगों को घेर लेते हैं। देवताओं ने उस आदमी को पानी से दूर कर दिया है क्योंकि उसने ब्राह्मण को मारा था।
