Sukta 4
सु॒प॒र्ण॒सुव॑ने गि॒रौ जा॒तं हि॒मव॑त॒स्परि॑ । धनै॑र॒भि श्रु॒त्वा य॑न्ति वि॒दुर्हि त॑क्म॒नाश॑नम्
suparṇasúvane giráu jātáṃ himávatas pári | dhánaiḥ abhí śrutvā́ yánti vidúr hí takmanā́śanam ||
Born on the mountain, from about the Himavant, at the Suparṇa’s generating-place: hearing thereof, men come toward it with gifts; for they know it indeed as the devourer of Fever.
हिमालय पर्वत पर एक स्पेशल पेड़ पैदा हुआ। उसके बारे में लोगों को पता चला तो वो अपने साथ दान लेकर आए। क्योंकि लोग जानते थे कि यह बुखार को खत्म करने वाली चीज़ है।
