Sukta 6
तान॑श्वत्थ॒ निः शृ॑णीहि॒ शत्रू॑न् वैबाध॒दोध॑तः । इन्द्रे॑ण वृत्र॒घ्ना मे॒दी मि॒त्रेण॒ वरु॑णेन च
tā́n aśvattha níḥ śṛṇīhi śátrūn vaibādhadódhataḥ | índreṇa vṛtrághnā médī mítreṇa váruṇena ca ||
Those enemies, O Aśvattha, shatter forth—drive them away with vehement thrust: with Indra the Vṛtra-slayer, with Medī, with Mitra and with Varuṇa.
अये पीपल के पेड़, उन दुश्मनों को तोड़ के भगा दे। ज़ोर से मारकर उन्हे दूर कर। इंद्र के साथ, जो वृत्र को मारने वाला है। मेदी के साथ, मित्र और वरुण के साथ।
