प्रेर॑य॒ सूरो॒ अर्थं॒ न पा॒रं ये अ॑स्य॒ कामं॑ जनि॒धा इ॑व॒ ग्मन्। गिर॑श्च॒ ये ते॑ तुविजात पू॒र्वीर्नर॑ इन्द्र प्रति॒शिक्ष॒न्त्यन्नैः॑
préraya sū́ro artháṃ ná pāráṃ yé asyá kā́maṃ janidhā́ iva gmán | gíraś ca yé te tuvijāta pū́rvīr nára indra pratiśíkṣanty ánnaiḥ ||
Impel forth, O Hero, the aim as to the farther shore—those who, as it were, generate his desire, go onward. And the many ancient songs of thine, O much-born Indra, which men recompense with foods.
हे सूर, आगे बढ़ा अपना काम। जो लोग इसकी इच्छा पैदा करते हैं, वो आगे बढ़ते हैं जैसे किसी को पार ले जा रहे हो। इन्द्र, तुम्हारे पुराने गाना बहुत हैं। लोग खाना देके उनका बदला करते हैं।
