Sukta 44
यदापो॑ अ॒घ्न्या इति॒ वरु॒णेति॒ यदू॑चि॒म। तस्मा॑त् सहस्रवीर्य मु॒ञ्च नः॒ पर्यंह॑सः
yád ā́po aghnyā́ íti váruṇé íti yád ū́cima | tásmāt sahasravīrya muñcá naḥ páryaṁhasaḥ ||
What we have uttered—‘the Waters are inviolable,’ and ‘O Varuṇa’—by virtue of that, O thou of thousandfold might, release us from the encompassing distress.
हमने कहा कि पानी को नहीं छेड़ना चाहिए। हमने वरुण का नाम लिया। अब तू अपनी ताकत से हमें इस तकलीफ से आज़ाद कर। तू बहुत बड़ा बलवान है।
