Sukta 32
दर्भः। श॒तका॑ण्डो दुश्च्यव॒नः स॒हस्र॑पर्ण उत्ति॒रः । द॒र्भो य उ॒ग्र ओष॑धि॒स्तं ते॑ बध्ना॒म्यायु॑षे
dárbhaḥ | śatá-kāṇḍo duścyavanáḥ sahásra-parṇa uttiráḥ | dárbho yá ugró óṣadhis táṃ te badhnā́my ā́yuṣe
Darbha—hundred-stemmed, hard to dislodge, thousand-leaved, surpassing. That Darbha which is a fierce herb, that do I bind upon thee for life.
यह दर्भ घास है। इसकी सौ डालें हैं, हिलाना मुश्किल है, हज़ार पत्तियाँ हैं, और यह सबसे ऊपर है। यह एक ताकतवर जड़ी-बूटी है। मैं इसको तुम्हारे लिए ज़िन्दगी के लिए बाँध रहा हूँ।
