ब्र॒ह्म॒चर्ये॑ण क॒न्या॒३ युवा॑नं विन्दते॒ पति॑म्। अ॒न॒ड्वान् ब्र॑ह्म॒चर्ये॒णाश्वो॑ घा॒सं जि॑गीर्षति

IAST Transliteration

brahmacaryéṇa kanyā́ yúvānaṃ vindate pátim | anaḍvā́n brahmacaryéṇā́śvo ghā́saṃ jigīrṣati ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

By holy studentship the maiden winneth her youthful lord as spouse. By studentship the strong bull, and the horse, would fain win fodder for their need.

कन्या ब्रह्मचर्य से जवान पति पाती है। बैल और घोड़ा भी ब्रह्मचर्य से अपने लिए घास खाना चाहते हैं।
