Sukta 2
न वै तं चक्षु॑र्जहाति॒ न प्रा॒णो ज॒रसः॑ पु॒रा। पुरं॒ यो ब्रह्म॑णो॒ वेद॒ यस्याः॒ पुरु॑ष उ॒च्यते॑
ná vái táṃ cákṣur jahāti ná prāṇó járasaḥ púrá | púraṃ yó bráhmaṇo véda yásyāḥ púruṣa ucyáte
Verily, sight forsaketh him not, nor doth the Breath abandon him before old age—who knoweth the fortress of Brahman, whereof the Person is called the indweller.
आँखें उसको कभी छोड़ती नहीं। साँस भी बुड्ढे होने तक साथ देती है। यह वो इंसान के लिए है जो ब्रह्मन की पुर को जानता है। जिसमें वो पुरुष रहता है।
