Sukta 31
य आशा॑नामाशापा॒लाश्च॒त्वार॒ स्थन॑ देवाः । ते नो॒ निरृ॑त्याः॒ पाशे॑भ्यो मु॒ञ्चतांह॑सो अंहसः
yé āśā́nām āśā-pā́lāś catvā́raḥ sthána devā́ḥ | té no nírṛtyā́ḥ pā́śebhyo muñcatā́ṃhaso aṃhásaḥ ||
Ye who are warders of the Quarters—four Gods, stand ye firm: from Nirṛti’s nooses do ye release us, from distress, from distress.
तुम चार देवता हो जो दिशाओं की रक्षा करते हो। तुम पक्के खड़े रहो। हमें बुरी चीज़ों की पाश से आज़ाद करो। दुख से, और फिर से दुख से मुक्त करो।
