Sukta 19
यो नः॒ स्वो यो अर॑णः सजा॒त उ॒त निष्ट्यो॒ यो अ॒स्माँ अ॑भि॒दास॑ति । रु॒द्रः श॑रव्य ऽ यै॒तान् ममा॒मित्रा॒न् वि वि॑ध्यतु
yó naḥ svó yó áraṇaḥ sajā́ta utá niṣṭyó yó asmā́m̐ abhídāsati | rudráḥ śaravyà etā́n mamā́mitrā́n ví vidhyatu
Whether he be our own, whether a stranger, whether a clansman, yea, whether one within the house—whoever assaileth us with malice: let Rudra, the arrow-bearing, pierce through and through these my foes.
चाहे वो हमारा अपना हो, या कोई अजनबी हो, या कोई रिश्तेदार हो, या घर में ही बैठे हो। जो भी हमारे खिलाफ बुरी नज़र से देख रहा है, रुद्र उसे अपने तीर से मार डालो। वो तीर उस दुश्मन को पूरा छेद के निकल जाए।
