When in the bowels, in the two conduits, and when in the bladder there is that which hath settled and compacted—so, for thee, let the urine be loosed: forth with it, with the cry ‘bal!’—wholly.
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angirasa tradition (ascribed at the hymn level in many Anukramaṇī traditions; specific r̥ṣi attribution may vary by school lists).
Devata: Therapeutic efficacy of the mantra itself (mantra-śakti); implicitly the bodily ‘flow’ (mūtra) as a functional devatā.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; standard for many short healing verses in AV 1)
Primary: vira
Secondary: shanta
