Sukta 3
वि॒द्मा श॒रस्य॑ पि॒तरं॑ मि॒त्रं श॒तवृ॑ष्ण्यम् । ते॑ना ते त॒न्वे॒३ शं क॑रं पृथि॒व्यां ते॑ नि॒षेच॑नं ब॒हिष्टे॑ अस्तु॒ बालिति॑
vidmá śarásya pitáraṁ mitráṁ śatá-vṛ́ṣṇyam | ténā te tanvé śáṁ-karaṁ pṛthivyā́ṁ te ni-ṣécanaṁ bahís-te astu bāl íti ||
We know the Father of Śara, Mitra, of hundredfold might. Therewith, for thy body, making welfare—upon the earth—let thine in-sprinkling be without thee: so (be it).
हम जानते हैं शर के बाप मित्र को। वो बहुत ताकत वाला है, सौ गुना शक्ति वाला। उसके साथ तुम्हारी बॉडी का भला करो। धरती पे तुम्हारा अभिषेक हो, और तुम बाहर सेफ रहो। यही दुआ है।
