धात्रीमाहितिकां वाकामां स्ववशां गच्छतः पूर्वः साहसदण्डः परवशां मध्यमः ॥ कZ_०३.१३.११ ॥
dhātrīm āhitikāṃ vā kāmāṃ svavaśāṃ gacchataḥ pūrvaḥ sāhasadaṇḍaḥ paravaśāṃ madhyamaḥ
कोई आदमी अगर नदी की धार, आग, चोर या जानवर से फंसा हो। वो बचने के लिए रेस्क्यूअर को बोल दे कि मैं तुम्हे सब कुछ दे दूंगा, मेरा बेटा, मेरी बीवी, या खुद भी। पर बचने के बाद वो रेस्क्यूअर को सिर्फ़ इतना पैसा देगा जितना जजेस ठीक लगाए।
