Sukta 8.49
आ त्वा सुतास इन्दवो मदा य इन्द्र गिर्वणः । आपो न वज्रिन्नन्वोक्यं सरः पृणन्ति शूर राधसे ॥
ā́ tvā sutā́sa índavo madā́ yá índra girvaṇaḥ | ā́po ná vajrinn ánvokyaṃ sáraḥ pṛṇánti śūra rā́dhase ||
Indra, jo bhajan gaate hain unka guru hai. Som ras ki boondein uske paas aati hain, jo madhoshi laati hain. Jaise paani milke kisi talab ko bhar deta hai, waise hi yeh boondein Indra ko bhar deti hain. Indra apni bijli aur gadaa se sabse bada balwan hai. Yeh sab uski badaai ke liye hai.
