Gāyatrī
Is mantra mein Parjanya ko bulaya gaya hai jo aasman ka beta hai. Woh barish laakar dharti ko hari bhari kar deta hai. Charagah aur paudhe uski wajah se ugte hain. Gai aur ghode bhi uski kirpa se phailte hain. Isme Parjanya ko meetha havan chadhane ko kaha gaya hai. Aashirwad se acha ane wala samay milta hai.

पर्जन्याय प्र गायत दिवस्पुत्राय मीळ्हुषे । स नो यवसमिच्छतु ॥
Parjanya ke liye gaao. Woh aasmaan ka beta hai aur bohot deta hai. Woh hamare liye kheta aur chara chahta hai taaki humara kaam badhe.

यो गर्भमोषधीनां गवां कृणोत्यर्वताम् । पर्जन्यः पुरुषीणाम् ॥
Parjanya mein bohot taakat hai. Woh paudhon, gaay aur ghodon ke andar jaan daalta hai. Yeh sab usi ki den hai.

तस्मा इदास्ये हविर्जुहोता मधुमत्तमम् । इळां नः संयतं करत् ॥
Uske liye meetha havan samarpao. Woh hamare liye sahi kaam aur barkat banata hai. Sab kuch sahi laga ke deta hai.
