Yeh mantra Indra ko bulane ke liye hai. Kavi kehta hai ki Indra apne do ghode leke jaldi aaye. Wo Indra ko naya banaya hua Soma peene ko kehte hain. Baar baar kehte hain ki Indra Soma apne pet mein rakh aur taakat paaye. Aisa karke Indra Kushika aur Vishwamitra ke vansh ko raksha kare. Unhe shakti aur jeet de jo use pukarte hain.

Mantra 1
उप नः सुतमा गहि सोममिन्द्र गवाशिरम् । हरिभ्यां यस्ते अस्मयुः ॥
Indra, hamare paas aao. Humne Som ras nikala hai, aap usko piyo. Aap apne do ghodon ke saath aao. Aap hamari puja ke liye aate hain.

तमिन्द्र मदमा गहि बर्हिःष्ठां ग्रावभिः सुतम् । कुविन्न्वस्य तृप्णवः ॥
Indra, aap aao aur us anand ko lo. Humne patthar se Som ras nikala hai aur usko bichha diya hai. Aapka mann bharega, aapko satisfaction milega.
Mantra 3
इन्द्रमित्था गिरो ममाच्छागुरिषिता इतः । आवृते सोमपीतये ॥
Mere shabd seedhe Indra tak pahunche. Main yahan se bula raha hoon. Ab woh wapas aayenge Som ras pine ke liye.
Mantra 4
इन्द्रं सोमस्य पीतये स्तोमैरिह हवामहे । उक्थेभिः कुविदागमत् ॥
Hum Indra ko bula rahe hain Som ras pine ke liye. Hum apne gaano se unhe bula rahe hain. Kya woh sach mein aa jayenge? Aasha hai ki aa jayenge.

इन्द्र सोमाः सुता इमे तान्दधिष्व शतक्रतो । जठरे वाजिनीवसो ॥
Hey Indra, yeh Som ras taiyaar hai, abhi nichoda gaya hai. Tu isko apne pet mein rakh le. Tu mein sau shaktiyaan hain, tu balwan hai. Tu is ras se aur strong ho ja.

विद्मा हि त्वा धनंजयं वाजेषु दधृषं कवे । अधा ते सुम्नमीमहे ॥
Hum jaante hain tu dhan jita sakta hai, tu himmat wala hai. Tu jo bhi karta hai usme dum hota hai. Isliye hum tujhse ashirwad maang rahe hain. Tu humein khush rakh aur aage badha.

इममिन्द्र गवाशिरं यवाशिरं च नः पिब । आगत्या वृषभिः सुतम् ॥
Indra, yeh Som ras hai, ismein gai ka doodh aur jau ki taakat hai. Aa ja aur humare liye isko pi le. Apni poori shakti lekar aa, aur is ras ko le le.

तुभ्येदिन्द्र स्व ओक्ये सोमं चोदामि पीतये । एष रारन्तु ते हृदि ॥
Indra, yeh Som ras sirf tere liye hai, tere apne ghar mein. Main isko tere paas bhej raha hoon taaki tu pi sake. Yeh ras tere dil mein jaake khush ho aur wahi baith jaaye.

त्वां सुतस्य पीतये प्रत्नमिन्द्र हवामहे । कुशिकासो अवस्यवः ॥
Indra, tu bahut purana hai, hum tujhe bulaa rahe hain. Yeh Som ras tere liye taiyaar hai, aa kar isko pi le. Hum Kushik parivar ke log hain, hum tujhse madad maang rahe hain.
