Is mantra mein Ushas, yani subah ki roshni ka jaap hai. Andhera bhag jata hai aur din ki sahi rasta wapas khul jata hai. Kirnein aur gaay ek jagah ikatthi hoti hain. Yeh naya din shuru hone ka signal hai. Havan aur puja ka kaam phir se seedha chalne lagta hai. Ushas roshni laati hai aur sab kaam theek ho jata hai.

Mantra 1
आ याहि वनसा सह गावः सचन्त वर्तनिं यदूधभिः ॥
Aao khushi ke saath, apni taakat lekar. Chamakte hue kirnon ko saath lekar aao, jo sahi raaste par chalte hain. Jab andar se poshan ke srot bah rahe hon, jab bhar ke aaye hon.
Mantra 2
आ याहि वस्व्या धिया मंहिष्ठो जारयन्मखः सुदानुभिः ॥
Aao dhan aur shakti ke vicharon ke saath. Sabse zyada dene wale ho tum. Hamare andar yagya ko pakate hue aao. Apni acchi dhaaron ke saath aao jo jeevan ko badhate hain.
Mantra 3
पितुभृतो न तन्तुमित्सुदानवः प्रति दध्मो यजामसि ॥
Poshan dene wale ban ke, hum dhaga sahi jagah pe lagate hain. He dene wale shaktiyon, hum use pakad ke rakhte hain aur yagya karte hain. Kaam ko jari rakhte hain.

उषा अप स्वसुस्तमः सं वर्तयति वर्तनिं सुजातता ॥
Usha, jo khush haal behen hai, andhera bhagati hai. Apni shakti se woh raasta phir se chalu karti hai. Sahi disha mein chalne ka marg saaf karti hai.
