Rishi Bharadwaj ne dekha ki Bharat haath jodke aa raha hai. Bharat purushon mein sher jaisa tha. Rishi ne apni puja khatam ki aur phir Bharat se baat ki.
Seeing Bharata, the best among men, who stood with folded palms, sage Bharadwaja, who had just completed his fire-sacrifice, said to him:
Dharma is twofold: the sage maintains ritual obligation (agnihotra), and the prince approaches with humility—right conduct sustains social-spiritual order.
Bharata arrives at Bharadvāja’s āśrama respectfully; Bharadvāja, after completing worship, begins to speak with him.
Bharata’s reverence and Bharadvāja’s steadfastness in vows and rites—mutual respect between kṣatriya duty and brahminical discipline.
