इंद्रद्युम्नापरिज्ञाने भद्रकोऽयं मुमूर्षति । तस्यानु मित्रं मार्कंडस्तं चान्वहमपि स्फुटम्
iṃdradyumnāparijñāne bhadrako'yaṃ mumūrṣati | tasyānu mitraṃ mārkaṃḍastaṃ cānvahamapi sphuṭam
इन्द्रद्युम्न की पहचान न होने से यह भद्रक मरणासन्न हो गया है। और उसके पीछे उसका मित्र मार्कण्ड भी—स्पष्ट ही—उसके साथ-साथ (मृत्यु की ओर) जाएगा।
