chettāraḥ saṃśayānāṃ ca lobhagrastā vrajaṃtyadhaḥ | lobhakrodhaprasaktāśca śiṣṭācārabahiṣkṛtāḥ
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta)
Scene: A debater cutting a knot of doubt with a sword of reasoning, but then slipping into a dark pit labeled lobha; beside him, figures of anger push him away from a circle of elders representing śiṣṭācāra.
Greed can undo even intellectual clarity; virtue requires steady character, not only sharp reasoning.
No tīrtha is referenced; it is a character-based teaching.
None; it warns against moral decline through greed and anger.
