pramatteṃdriyavṛttaiśca kāmarāgaprapīḍanāt | rāgodvṛttasya satataṃ kutaḥ saukhyaṃ hi yauvane

Translation

यौवन में इंद्रियाँ प्रमत्त होकर चलती हैं और काम-राग की पीड़ा सताती है। जो सदा राग से उद्विग्न रहता है, उसे यौवन में सुख कहाँ?
