प्रयोजनमपेक्ष्यैव प्रसंगाद्यत्प्रदीयते । अनर्हेषु सरागेण कामदानं तदुच्यते
prayojanamapekṣyaiva prasaṃgādyatpradīyate | anarheṣu sarāgeṇa kāmadānaṃ taducyate
जो दान किसी प्रयोजन की अपेक्षा से, आसक्ति और प्रसंगवश, यहाँ तक कि अयोग्यों को भी दिया जाए—वह ‘कामदान’ कहलाता है।
