विकल्पः स्वच्छचित्तेति गिरिजैषा मम प्रिया । प्रायेण भूतिलिप्तानामन्यथा चिंतिता हृदि
vikalpaḥ svacchacitteti girijaiṣā mama priyā | prāyeṇa bhūtiliptānāmanyathā ciṃtitā hṛdi
हे गिरिजे, मेरा प्रिय मत यही है—स्वच्छ प्रतीत होने वाले चित्त में भी विकल्प उठता है। जो भूतिलिप्त (सांसारिक) हैं, उनके हृदय में प्रायः बात का अर्थ अन्यथा ही कल्पित होता है।
