अथवा स कथं मेरुस्तथोच्चैः स्पर्द्धते मया । भूमेर्भारभृतःप्रायो भवंति भ्रांति भूमयः
athavā sa kathaṃ merustathoccaiḥ sparddhate mayā | bhūmerbhārabhṛtaḥprāyo bhavaṃti bhrāṃti bhūmayaḥ
अथवा वह मेरु मेरे साथ इतनी ऊँचाई पर कैसे स्पर्धा कर सकता है? जो पृथ्वी का भार ढोते हैं, वे प्रायः भ्रम की भूमि—मोह के कारण—बन जाते हैं॥
