त्रिशङ्कुशापः
Trishanku’s Curse and Appeal to Viśvāmitra
ऋषिपुत्रास्तु तच्छ्रुत्वा वाक्यं घोराभिसंहितम्।।।।शेपु: परमसङ्कृद्धाश्चण्डालत्वं गमिष्यसि।
ṛṣiputrās tu tac chrutvā vākyaṃ ghorābhisaṃhitam |
śepuḥ parama-saṅkṛddhāś caṇḍālatvaṃ gamiṣyasi ||
उस घोर अभिप्राय से युक्त वचन को सुनकर ऋषि-पुत्र अत्यन्त क्रुद्ध हो उठे और शाप देने लगे—“तू चाण्डालत्व को प्राप्त होगा।”
