भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

शून्योऽयं शयनीयस्ते पर्यङ्को हेमभूषितः।न चायमिक्ष्वाकुजनः प्रहृष्टः प्रतिभाति मा।।2.72.11।।
toraṇaṃ dakṣiṇārdhena jambhūprastham upāgamat |
varūthaṃ ca yayau ramyaṃ grāmaṃ daśarathātmajaḥ ||2.72.11||
तोरण के दक्षिण भाग से होकर चलते हुए दशरथनन्दन भरत जम्भूप्रस्थ पहुँचे; फिर वे रमणीय वरूथ नामक ग्राम को गए।
