गङ्गादर्शनम् तथा गुहसमागमः
Vision of the Gaṅgā and Meeting with Guha
सुमन्त्रोऽप्यवतीर्यास्मान्मोचयित्वा हयोत्तमान्।वृक्षमूलगतं राममुपतस्थे कृताञ्जलिः।।2.50.32।।
sumantraḥ ’py avatīryāsmān mocayitvā hayottamān | vṛkṣamūlagataṃ rāmam upatasthē kṛtāñjaliḥ || 2.50.32 ||
सुमंत्र भी रथ से उतरकर उत्तम घोड़ों को खोल दिया और वृक्ष-मूल में स्थित राम के पास हाथ जोड़कर खड़ा हो गया।
Rama, delight of the Ikshvakus, along with his consort and Lakshmana reached that beautiful tree and alighted from the chariot.
Dharma as respectful service: Sumantra’s actions show devotion, humility, and correct conduct toward a righteous prince even in adversity.
After stopping for the night, Sumantra tends to the horses and then attends Rāma reverently.
