Having come to know that Rama, the best among men, had arrived in his region Guha accompanied by senior ministers and people of his clan came to greet him.
Filial dharma and satya: Rāma frames exile as a duty to be completed truthfully, after which rightful reunion becomes morally possible.
Rāma expresses confidence that after completing the term of exile and fulfilling duty to his father, he will return and reunite with his parents.
Integrity and dutifulness: he treats his promise and obligation as binding, not optional.
