Adhyaya 26 — Madālasa Names Alarka and Reorients Him Toward Kshatriya Duty
चतुर्थस्य सुतस्याथ चिकीर्षुर्नाम भूमिपः ।
ददर्श तां शुभाचारामीषद्धासां मदालसाम् ।
तामाह राजा हसतीं किञ्चित् कौतूहलान्वितः ॥
caturthasya sutasyātha cikīrṣur nāma bhūmipaḥ / dadarśa tāṃ śubhācārām īṣaddhāsāṃ madālasām / tām āha rājā hasatīṃ kiñcit kautūhalānvitaḥ
तब राजा चौथे पुत्र का नाम रखने की इच्छा से, सदाचारिणी मदालसा को हल्का-सा मुस्कुराते हुए देख बैठा। कुछ कुतूहल से भरकर, उसके हँसते हुए मुख की ओर देखकर राजा ने उससे कहा।
