Sukta 50
yáthā vṛkṣám aśánir viśvā́hā hánty apratí | evā́ham adyá kitavā́n ákṣair bádhyāsam apratí ||
As the thunderbolt ever smiteth the tree, resistless—so may I to-day, resistless, bind fast the gambler with his dice.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (as per anukramaṇī)
Devata: Aśani (thunderbolt) as model-power; operative target is the kitava (gambler)
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; short two-line structure; confirm by syllable count with pada resolution).
{"primary_rasa":"raudra","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_arc":"From unstoppable cosmic violence (aśani) to controlled social coercion (binding).","listener_experience":"A jolt of authority; deterrence; moral seriousness.","intensity":7}
