Sukta 114
प्रेतो यन्तु व्याऽध्यः प्रानुध्याः प्रो अशस्तयः । अग्नी रक्षस्विनीर्हन्तु सोमो हन्तु दुरस्यतीः
préto yántu vyā́dhyàḥ prā́nudhyā́ḥ pró áśastayaḥ | agní̍ rakṣasvínīr hantu sómo hantu durasyatī́ḥ ||
Forth from hence let maladies depart, forth the pursuing oppressions, forth the evil speakings. Let Agni smite the demon-women; let Soma smite the ill-intending powers.
यहाँ से व्याधियाँ दूर चली जाएँ; यहाँ से पीछा करने वाले उपद्रव दूर हों; यहाँ से अशस्ति (दुष्ट वचन/अपयश) दूर हो। अग्नि रक्षस्विनी (राक्षसी/दुष्ट स्त्रियाँ) को हन्तु; सोम दुरस्यतीः (दुर्भावनायुक्त शक्तियाँ) को हन्तु।
