Sukta 109
ādinaváṁ pratidī́vne ghṛténa asmā́n abhí kṣara | vṛkṣám iva aśányā jahí yó asmā́n pratidī́vyati ||
Pour thou with ghee the taking-away ruin upon the counter-gambler; smite, as with a thunderbolt a tree, him who plays against us.
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angirasa attribution (traditional)
Devata: Imprecatory force empowered by ghṛta; Indraic thunderbolt imagery as weapon-symbol
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like (shorter cadence; requires metrical confirmation against padapāṭha)
{"primary_rasa":"raudra","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_arc":"From controlled pouring (measured action) to decisive violence (strike).","listener_experience":"A sharp surge of assertive power; moral permission to repel harm.","intensity":8}
