ऋतून् यज ऋतुपतीनार्तवानुत हायनान्। समाः संवत्सरान् मासान् भूतस्य पतये यजे

IAST Transliteration

ṛtū́n yaja ṛtupátīn ārtavā́n utá hāyanā́n | samā́ḥ saṃvatsarā́n mā́sān bhūtásya pátaye yaje

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Worship the Seasons; worship the Lords of Seasons, the seasonal portions, and the yearly rounds. The years, the full cycles, the months—to the Lord of Being I offer worship.

Translation

ऋतुओं का यजन कर; ऋतुपतियों का, ऋतु-भागों का और हायन (वार्षिक) परिक्रमाओं का भी यजन कर। समा, संवत्सर, मास—भूत (अस्तित्व) के पति के लिए मैं यजन करता हूँ।
