पशुसंवर्धनम्। एह यन्तु पशवो ये परेयुर्वायुर्येषां सहचारं जुजोष । त्वष्टा येषां रूपधेयानि वेदास्मिन् तान् गोष्ठे सविता नि यछतु
éha yántu paśávo yé paréyur vāyúr yéṣāṃ sahacārám jujóṣa | tváṣṭā yéṣāṃ rūpadhéyāni véda asmín tā́n góṣṭhe savitā́ ní yacchatu ||
Hither let the cattle come—those that have wandered forth—whose fellow-traveller the Wind hath welcomed as companion. Whose forms and proper marks Tvaṣṭṛ knoweth: those, in this cowshed, let Savitar set fast and hold in place.
इधर आएँ वे पशु जो भटककर दूर चले गए थे—जिनका सहयात्री वायु साथी बनकर साथ देता है। जिनके रूप और चिह्न त्वष्टा जानता है—उनको इस गोष्ठ में सविता दृढ़ता से बाँध दे, स्थिर कर रखे।
