स धा॒ता स वि॑ध॒र्ता स वा॒युर्नभ॒ उच्छ्रि॑तम्। र॒श्मिभि॒र्नभ॒ आभृ॑तं महे॒न्द्र ए॒त्यावृ॑तः
sá dhātā́ sá vidhártā sá vāyúr nábha úcchritam | raśmíbhir nábha ā́bhṛtaṃ mahéndra ety ā́vṛtaḥ
He is the Ordainer, he the Upholder; he is Vāyu—aloft is the firmament upraised. With rays the firmament is borne and filled: great Indra goeth on, encompassed round about.
वह धाता है, वह विधाता है; वही वायु है—ऊँचा उठाया हुआ नभ (आकाश) उन्नत है। किरणों से नभ धारण किया गया है और परिपूर्ण किया गया है; महेन्द्र चारों ओर से आवृत होकर आगे बढ़ते हैं।
