Sukta 4
प्रवीयमाना चरति क्रुद्धा गोपतये वशा। वेहतं मा मन्यमानो मृत्योः पाशेषु बध्यताम्
pravī́yamānā carati krúddhā gopátaye vaśā́ | véhatam mā́ mányamāno mṛtyóḥ pā́śeṣu badhyatām ||
Driven onward she goes, wrathful, the Vashā, against the cattle-lord. Let him who, deeming her ‘barren’ (or ‘worthless’), so thinks—be bound fast in the nooses of Death.
हांक दी गई, क्रुद्ध होकर, वशा गोपति (पशुपालक/गोधन-स्वामी) की ओर चलती है। जो उसे ‘वेह’ (बाँझ/निष्फल) मानकर ऐसा सोचे, वह मृत्यु के पाशों में दृढ़ता से बँध जाए।
