Sukta 4
य आर्षेयेभ्यो याचद्भ्यो देवानां गां न दित्सति । आ स देवेषु वृश्चते ब्राह्मणानां च मन्यवे
yá ā̀rṣeyébhyo yā́cadbhyo devā́nāṃ gā́ṃ ná ditsati | ā́ sá devéṣu vṛścate brāhmaṇā́nāṃ ca mányave ||
Whoso, when the Ārṣeyas ask, will not bestow the cow that is the Gods’, he is cut off among the Gods, and (is delivered) to the Brahmans’ wrath.
जो आर्षेयों के माँगने पर देवताओं की (अर्पित) गाय नहीं देता, वह देवों के बीच से काट दिया जाता है और ब्राह्मणों के क्रोध के अधीन कर दिया जाता है।
