अथोभयतोमुखीगोदानहेमकुम्भदानपुराणप्रशंसाः ॥ होतोवाच ॥ अतः परं महाराज शृणूभयमुखीं ततः ॥ विधानं तद्वरारोहे धरण्या कथितं पुरा ॥

હવે પુરાણમાં ‘ઉભયતોમુખી’ નામના દાનની, ગોદાનની અને સુવર્ણકુંભદાનની પ્રશંસા વર્ણવાય છે. હોતા બોલ્યા—હે મહારાજ, હવે પછી ઉભયમુખી (વિધિ/વ્રત) સાંભળો; હે સુશ્રોણિ, તેનું વિધાન પૂર્વે ધરણી (પૃથ્વી)એ કહ્યું હતું.
