एवमुक्त्वा महाभागा सखीगणसमावृता । गत्वा प्रभासक्षेत्रं सा प्रतिष्ठाप्य महेश्वरम् । गौरीश्वरेति विख्यातं पूजयंती विधानतः
evamuktvā mahābhāgā sakhīgaṇasamāvṛtā | gatvā prabhāsakṣetraṃ sā pratiṣṭhāpya maheśvaram | gaurīśvareti vikhyātaṃ pūjayaṃtī vidhānataḥ
આ રીતે કહી મહાભાગ્યા દેવી સખીગણથી ઘેરાઈ પ્રભાસક્ષેત્રે ગઈ. ત્યાં તેણે મહેશ્વર-લિંગની પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરી, જે ‘ગૌરીશ્વર’ નામે પ્રસિદ્ધ થયું, અને વિધિપૂર્વક તેની પૂજા કરી।
