प्रणम्य शिरसा सर्वे तामूचुस्ते सुमध्यमाम् । उमे कथय कुत्रस्थं द्रक्ष्यामो रुद्रमेकदा
praṇamya śirasā sarve tāmūcuste sumadhyamām | ume kathaya kutrasthaṃ drakṣyāmo rudramekadā
સર્વે શિરસા પ્રણામ કરીને તે સુમધ્યા દેવીને બોલ્યા— “હે ઉમા! રુદ્ર ક્યાં નિવાસ કરે છે તે કહો, જેથી અમે ઓછામાં ઓછું એક વાર તો તેમનું દર્શન કરી શકીએ.”
