उद्वेगं च परं यांति प्रतप्यंति यतस्ततः । आत्मसंभाविता मूढा मिथ्याज्ञानेन मोहिताः । वर्णाश्रमविरुद्धं तु तीर्थे कु्र्वन्ति येऽधमाः
udvegaṃ ca paraṃ yāṃti pratapyaṃti yatastataḥ | ātmasaṃbhāvitā mūḍhā mithyājñānena mohitāḥ | varṇāśramaviruddhaṃ tu tīrthe ku्rvanti ye'dhamāḥ
તેઓ પરમ ઉદ્વેગમાં પડે છે અને જ્યાં-ત્યાં દુઃખથી દગ્ધ થઈ ભટકે છે—આત્મગર્વી મૂઢ, મિથ્યા જ્ઞાનથી મોહીત. જે અધમ લોકો વર્ણાશ્રમ-ધર્મના વિરોધમાં વર્તે છે, તેઓ તીર્થમાં પણ આવા અપચાર કરે છે.
