स्थातव्यमद्यप्रभृति क्षेत्रेऽस्मिन्नुमया सह । यस्मात्त्वया प्रभा लब्धा क्षेत्रेऽस्मिन्मत्प्रसादतः । तस्मात्प्रभासमित्येवं नामास्य प्रभविष्यति
sthātavyamadyaprabhṛti kṣetre'sminnumayā saha | yasmāttvayā prabhā labdhā kṣetre'sminmatprasādataḥ | tasmātprabhāsamityevaṃ nāmāsya prabhaviṣyati
આજથી હું ઉમા સાથે આ ક્ષેત્રમાં નિવાસ કરીશ. કારણ કે મારા પ્રસાદથી તને આ ક્ષેત્રમાં પ્રભા (દિપ્તિ) પ્રાપ્ત થઈ; તેથી આ સ્થાન ‘પ્રભાસ’ નામે પ્રસિદ્ધ થશે.
