शंकर उवाच । परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते वत्स स्तोत्रेणानेन शीतगो । वरं वरय भद्रं ते भूयो यत्ते मनोगतम्
śaṃkara uvāca | parituṣṭo'smi te vatsa stotreṇānena śītago | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te bhūyo yatte manogatam
શંકરે કહ્યું—હે વત્સ, હે શીતગો (ચંદ્ર), આ સ્તોત્રથી હું તારા પર પૂર્ણ પ્રસન્ન છું. તારો કલ્યાણ થાઓ; તારા મનમાં જે ઇચ્છા હોય તે વર માગ।
