kṛṣṇāḥ śvetāśca vā grāhyāḥ śrāddhakarmaṇi sarvadā | bilvāmalakamṛdvīkaṃ panasāmrātadāḍimam

Translation

શ્રાદ્ધકર્મમાં કાળા કે સફેદ—બન્ને પ્રકારની વસ્તુઓ હંમેશા ગ્રહણયોગ્ય છે. બિલ્વ, આમળા, દ્રાક્ષ/મુનક્કા, ફણસ, કેરી અને દાડમ જેવા ફળો પણ માન્ય છે.
